The New Year

I am very excited about 2009! I have never been very big on "new Years resolutions", I guess I always thought I make resolutions in my life on a weekly/monthly/daily time line, but this year has been different. I didn't even have to think about all the new things I wanted to do in my life this year. They kind of just fell into my mind as I was thinking. Most of the things had to do with what God is doing in my life. He has been speaking to me about finding out who I really am in Christ. Of course I have head knowledge of who I am and what I can do in Christ. I could preach on it all day long, but to truly believe all those things for myself is the challenge. I know that God is doing awesome things already and is truly building me up to be more like him, with the deep roots that I long for!
