Great Day
Yesterday was such a great day. First, Melissa taught at church and that is always a special treat. She spoke about grace, which is what my heart needed to hear most. Do you know those times when you are listening to a message and you think to yourself, she is talking directly to me, isn't she? That is how I felt yesterday morning while sitting in church. She talked about three reasons we tend to not show grace.
1. I've been hurt.
2. I'm not remembering the grace I've been freely given.
3. I am forgetting how much grace I require.

Secondly, we have a baptism/pool party. It was a lot of fun just hanging with friends by the pool. The water was nice and the weather was HOT! Shawn got burnt pretty bad and this is all due to his stubbornness. When I told him to put sunscreen on he said, "sunscreens for sissy's". I am bettin' he wishes he was a sissy today.
Thirdly, we went mountain biking. I only fell three times and they weren't bad falls at all. No bruises or cuts. The hot weather holds me back from doing my best, but I am sure after riding a few times in the heat I will be better acclimated to the high temperature.
