No More Sweets
So I have decided to stop eating sweets this year and I really must say that I feel like a new/different person. Energy abounds daily and I no longer feel drained half way through the day. To define "no sweets", that really means no cookies, cakes, pies, sugary cereal, no CHOCOLATE, etc. I have not stopped eating sugar as a whole. There is sugar in almost everything we eat. Of course, I've made mistakes, I ate frozen yogurt in January not really thinking anything of it and realized later that probably fell into my "no sweets" category.
The hardest part of no more sweets is making desserts for life group each week. It's the only time I really crave sweets now. But every time I am tempted to eat a sweet I remember how good I feel each day and it keeps me from indulging.
Surprisingly, this has made me eat healthier overall.
